The newly opened Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI) is Cambodia's largest airport. With a capacity for 7 million passengers per year, a 3,600 meter runway that can accommodate large aircraft, and 56 boarding gates, this modern airport is well-equipped to handle significant traffic. Strategically located just 40km east of the renowned Angkor Wat temples, sai airport enables convenient access to Siem Reap and the surrounding region. Since beginning operations in October 2023, the airport has provided a major transportation hub to support tourism and business in northwestern Cambodia.
